Here are a few things you should know about me and the experience I bring to every real estate transaction.
I have been actively licensed in Central Ohio since 1975, beginning my career with HER Realtors, one of Ohio’s leading residential real estate brokerages for many years, with multiple offices throughout the state. Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors of HER Realtors, become a Founding Partner of HER, and serve on the Board of Directors of the Columbus REALTORS®. In 2022, I was honored to be named Columbus REALTORS® REALTOR® of the Year.
Recently, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services merged with HER Realtors. Founded in 1957 with a single office in Pittsburgh, Howard Hanna has grown into the largest family-owned and -operated real estate brokerage in the country.
My experience extends well beyond traditional residential real estate. I have been actively involved as a principal in the construction and marketing of single-family homes, giving me valuable insight into the building process, new construction, and what buyers are looking for in today's market. I am also a Certified Relocation Specialist, having assisted employees relocating through programs involving numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Over the years, I have sold multiple farms and developed extensive knowledge of agricultural properties, including cultivation, land use, and subdivision opportunities. I have also owned and managed investment properties for nearly 50 years, giving me a unique perspective on real estate from both an ownership and investment standpoint.
In addition to my real estate career, I am a team owner and building owner in Historic Uptown Westerville, a community I am proud to be part of. On the personal side, I have been married to my wife, Eileen Wirtz McCurdy, for more than 45 years. We have three adult children—Andrew, Patrick, and Meghan—and are blessed with four grandchildren.
